In a recent Instagram post, Liza Soberano finally shed light on the cancellation of her soap opera “Make It With You” opposite real-life boyfriend Enrique Gil.

“Yes, it’s confirmed that our show won’t go back on air anymore. It’s sad and I’m heartbroken but that’s the fact,” she avers.

Actually, management has advised the cast to resume taping already but most of them had apprehensions.

“That’s true. Many hesitated though. Considering that the COVID-19 situation here in the Philippines is far from contained, there are many risks in place for me (and everyone involved) given my history of having a weak immune system.”

Due to this, she really weighed things down.

“I consulted my family, my managers, and the team and we all came to an agreement that it might be for the best to not continue with the show anymore. Apart from the cast members’ hesitation, there are other factors as well why ‘Make It With You’ will no longer air.”

With this development, the beauteous actress is sad for the fans.

“I’m sorry we won’t be able to give our audience the ending they deserve. I want to thank them for embarking on the journey of Billie and Gabo. Thank you and looking forward to our next adventure!”

Meanwhile, it was known that the pretty gal has lots of worthwhile things to do in the midst of the pandemic.

“Oh, yes! One is going back to school. I will resume my online studies while waiting for my next primetime show. I’m on my freshman year at the Southville International School in Las Piñas City taking up Psychology. I had to put my studies on hold because I was taping four times a week for ‘Make It With You.’ Now, I can attend to my online classes again.

“I also appeared in ‘Caldero Files’ recently. It’s a show that was aired in ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel, in ABS-CBN Network’s Facebook page and in the website OKS. In that particular episode, I shared cooking tips, baking secret and my favorite recipe.

“I also participated in the auction called, ‘Shop & Share 2020’ which was spearheaded by Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo and Dimples Romana. Other celebrities who joined in this undertaking were: Vice Ganda, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Pia Wurtzbach, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Karla Estrada, Vhong Navarro, Dr. Hayden Kho Jr., Dra. Vicki Belo, Sarah Lahbati, Sylvia Sanchez, Mariel Padilla, Robert Seña, and Raymond Gutierrez. The proceeds of this auction will be used to purchase Covid-19 test kits for those underprivileged Filipinos,” Liza states.
