Many ask if the love team of Iñigo Pascual and Maris Rascal or more popularly known as MarNigo has already broken up. This is the latest buzz especially after the latter was recently seen in a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode opposite McCoy de Leon. To this, Iñigo avers:

“To be honest, if we get paired with other stars, it’s our job to deliver. In this case, I’m very proud of Maris. She and McCoy handled everything professionally. They were a love team before, right? You know, we’re friends in the industry and we’re all working. I hope the people will respect such development. For one, I’m friends with McCoy.”

Many ask as to the present level of his relationship with Maris. It can be recalled that recently, he described their status as “exclusive to each other.”

“Well, all I can say is that the two of us have gone through a lot together. We grew together and I guess, it’s vital. We really have to grow and now, we’re growing at our respective pace. We may be doing separate projects at this point but surely, the support will always be there. It will never end.

“I’ve been very vocal in saying that I will always be one of her biggest fans. I’ve learned a lot from her and the lessons I gained will always remain in me. It’s a fact that we don’t see each other as much anymore, but our friendship remains intact. We’re still very good friends. Nothing changed especially that we just got back from a tour. We were able to spend time together and worked together again. But I guess, we’re really focusing on our own separate things!”

They have a launching vehicle titled, “I’m Ellenya L.”

“That’s right! I’m so proud of this movie and the amount of work we’ve put into it. It’s a comedy with a heart. Fortunately, we had an extra day to polish some scenes and it turned out fine. We’re just waiting for the time when it gets commercially exhibited. The film is great and I can say that Maris is good in this one.”

With regards to his solo projects, Iñigo is excited to reveal:

“It’s good. I’m preparing for a lot of things that’s coming ahead. Like there’s my new music videos. One already came out called ‘Mr. Nice Guy.’ This is my collaboration with Wengi.

“I’m happy to inform that we already have two million views for the English version.

There’s also the Taglish version. People can check it out in Star Music’s You Tube channel and in Spotify. I’ll be filming my second one for an international album.

“With the many opportunities being given to me at present, I’ve been strictly training. I’ve been spending a lot of time enhancing myself. It’s a must to practice. So of late, I’ve been training hard on the departments of singing, dancing and composing songs.”

Interestingly, the talented lad is about to visit dad Piolo Pascual who’s currently in Europe.

“Yes! He took a break for two months, right? He wanted to study more on filmmaking. I think this is to further focus on producing more movie projects in the future. Personally, I’m supportive of the idea and will visit him there next month,” ends Iñigo.
