Auburn, a suburban city in the King County in Washington State, becomes a Holy Ground on September 8-9 for over a hundred Catholic Servants of the Lord ord (SOLD) and True Men of God (TMG) of the spiritual community Couples for Christ (CFC) as they converge for an annual conference themed ‘Rise Above’.
Motoring and flying in groups from Northern California, East and and West Washington, Idaho, and Oregon, the conferees will spend the weekend at picturesque but serene Lakeview Retreat Center in Auburn to rekindle their gifts and “Rise Above” in fulfilling their embraced ministry. CFC started in the Philippines in 1981 and has now global presence in over 120 countries.
CFC NorthWest A Leader Brother Ado Magat, who covers these areas, said CFC international and USA leaders will fly in to SeaTac Airport on that weekend and join their brethren as they take turns in contextualizing contemporary realities and challenges in undertaking their spiritual missions.
CFC USA SOLD Core Group member and conference organizer Brother Bobbee Mella said participants would rise above their bestowed spiritual gifts and fulfill their evangelization undertaking and missions in the context of interesting session topics such as: Life in the Fast Lane, The Long Run, The Best of My Love and Love will Keep Us Alive.
Every year, delegates to this annual men’s conference look forward to the Saturday Fellowship Night that spice up thrills and frills to such religious gathering but Brother Ado Magat would not bare yet details what scintillating experiences that await the conferees this year in his area of evangelization.
“I am certain that conferees will not only unfold the best in their faith and evangelization work but also enjoy an unforgettable weekend amid the hospitality and picturesque but serene backdrop of Auburn and Washington, in general,” Brother Ado Magat said.
