Milpitas, CA – Oh yes, it’s real! We have a winner!

Igmedio Usio, a resident of 1077 Topaz Ave. #16, San Jose, CA 95117, won one of the six Toyota Prius grand prize during Seafood City’s Mega anniversary celebration this year at Landess Avenue this city.

The raffle stub was drawn by former Milpitas Mayor Jose Esteves and City Councilmember Atty. Garry Barbadillo. The car keys were turned over by Mildred Smith, Seafood City’s Advertising Consultant, and the winner, together with his wife Ofelia, drove home their prized car.

Usio said he dropped only two raffle stubs. “Seguro talagang nakatakda sa akin ng Panginoon ang kotse kasi dalawa lang ang inihulog kong stub. Sa dinamidaming stubs na nasa malaking tambiolo, isa sa aking tiket ang nabunot ni Mayor,” said Usio.

The remaining six other cars will be drawn weekly in various Seafood City outlets in California. – Elpidio R. Estioko
