OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors came into Oklahoma City to face off Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The game wasn’t your typical emphatic slam-the-door kind of crunch time for the Warriors but it was effective enough to notch a victory in a very hostile territory specially for Durant.

The short-handed Warriors played without Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, and Shaun Livingston.

Defense pretty much dictated the outcome of the game as the Warriors allowed the Thunder to do what they’ve often done this season which is to beat themselves.

Durant led the Warriors with 34 points and 10 rebounds, with Klay Thompson adding 20 points. Westbrook led the Thunder with 44 points and 16 rebounds in futility.

The Warriors next game will be with the hot streaking Indiana Pacers on April 5. (ACM)
