Recently spotted at the San Francisco Chinese Community Street Fair was outstanding leader and entrepreneur Wai-Ling Eng.
Eng, owner-operator of four McDonald’s restaurants in San Francisco also serves as an Officer on the Board of Directors of the local Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Bay Area (San Francisco).
Eng said that McDonald’s created a comprehensive education strategy named – Archways to Opportunity which aim to provide tuition assistance to eligible employees in earning their high school diplomas and college degrees.
Launched in April 2016, the nationwide program provides both company employees and employees of participating independent owners-operators with free high school completion courses, assistance with college tuition, and academic advising.
