In San Francisco, Spring began with the Award-Winning Fashion Community Week; one of the largest
Fashion Events in the West Coast! As one of the leading platforms for International and Local Fashion
Designers and brands, the organization celebrated their 14th season with a 4-day hybrid event. The
Fashion Week consisted of a virtual runway show and conference followed by an on-site fashion show
and celebration after party this March 10th through 13th.

The first day (March 10th) commenced with a virtual Fashion Tech Conference, with a conversation on the
future of the fashion industry and sustainability. The presenting speakers were CEO’s of Heuritech (Tony
Pinville), WearableX (Billie Whitehouse), Bold Metrics (Daina Burnes), Yoona (Anna Franziska Michel)
and Atelier No.9 (Emi Cho).

On the second day (March 11th) the evening began with a press conference followed by a fashion week
opening party at the chic members club; The Modernist. The evening was celebrated with delicious
cocktails, networking, socializing and live media interviews with the industry attendees.
The third day (March 12th) featured the most popular day of the Fashion week, a One-of-a-Kind Fashion
show at the majestic Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel. The evening commenced with a VIP cocktail reception
followed by an extravagant runway show featuring seven local and international fashion designers. The
evening continued with a celebration gathering with live music. The presenting runway designers were:
Emelie Marcelle (Paris), Lisa Conte (Milan) Dokke (France- Senegal), KTR collection (Korea), Kudsedia
(India), Muriel’s (Vermont), Ben Babadi (Florence- San Francisco). All collections were available to shop
right from the runway after the conclusion of the show!

On the closing day (March 13th), a virtual fashion show was debuted with global fashion brands. It was a
walking exhibition of models featuring exquisite collections of the season. An illuminating ambience was
generated to create the effects of this runway show.

Every season, the organization benefits a cause during its fashion week editions. This season the cause
was to support Ukrainian Mothers and Children in collaborations with the nonprofit PWIC Global impact
and designer ‘Ukrainian Bravery’. All proceeds are benefitting towards Humanitarian crisis.

Since 2014, Fashion Community Week has proudly presented Fashion designers from 60 countries. The
organization has recently launched an online fashion incubator to support global emergent fashion
brands. This program offers workshops and consultations, e-boutique platform to help sell the collections
of designers and a virtual Fashion Week to offer exposure for emerging fashion businesses.

All the fashion week events of the 14th season are available to be viewed at: fcwsf.org. We invite you to
follow their website and social media channels to learn about their online incubator programs and
upcoming events. The organization is looking forward to celebrating their 15th edition in the Fall of 2022
and continues to position San Francisco as the leading location for global emerging fashion brands.
