As part of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco’s continuing efforts to expand and deepen its engagements with the Filipino diaspora, Philippine Consul General Neil Ferrer joined the monthly meeting of the Bay Area-based Filipino Service Providers Network on last February 16.

During the virtual meeting, which was attended by around 40 members of the network, Ferrer gave a presentation of the Consulate’s consular and assistance-to-nationals (ATN) services, as well as updates on the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines and the country’s protocols for arriving international travelers.

The Philippine Consul General thanked the network for their service to the community, and assured them of the Consulate’s support in advancing the welfare and well-being of Filipinos and Filipino Americans in the Bay Area.

The Filipino Service Providers Network comprises around 40 community-based organizations that offer social welfare, medical, psychological, legal, educational, and other support and linkage services in the Bay Area. The network is marking its third anniversary this year. (San Francisco PCG screenshot)
