PALO ALTO — Cal Bears defeated Stanford in the Big Game Saturday night, the Bears second straight road victory over the Cardinals.
The Bears rolled up 636 yards, a Big Game record for either team. And definitely, a welcome win for the Bears.

Cal lost in Arizona two weeks earlier when 24 players tested positive for Covid, then their game last week against USC was postponed because they didn’t have
enough healthy players to field a team.
Stanford faces the consequence of seven consecutive losses unless it can pull an upset
against Notre Dame next week.
