SANTA CLARA — The Arizona Cardinals did not have their star quarterback Kyler Murray or WR DeAndre Hopkins on November 7 but it didn’t matter.
Back-up quarterback Colt McCoy led this team to a 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
The Cardinals came off of their first loss of the season and were dealing with numerous injuries but they dominated 49ers on Sunday.
Cardinals RB James Connor was the star of the game as he rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. He also caught five passes for 77 yards and another touchdown.
Their defense dominated as well, as they sacked Jimmy Garoppolo five times.

Not much went right for the 49ers. Garoppolo threw for 326 yards, two touchdowns and one interception but the 49ers recorded just 30 total rushing yards.
The 49ers also had three turn-overs which helped the Cardinals jump to a quick lead in the first half.

This impressive win proved the team worthiness of the Cardinals and they’re not just carried by some big name MVPs.
