Singer-Songwriter Odette Quesada and Comedienne-Singer Fe De Los Reyes have teamed up once again to bring you a truly SENTI-MENTAL evening of love songs and song parodies.
Odette Quesada is a multi-award winning singer-songwriter and record producer whose songs ruled Philippines ‘ airwaves in the 1980s. She was barely out of her teens when she became the country’s most sought-after hitmaker. Best known for her own hit “Friend of Mine”, Odette’s songs have been recorded, covered and revived through the years by numerous artists such as Ric Segreto (Don’t Know What To Do), Kuh Ledesma (Till I Met You), Gary Valenciano (Growing Up), Raymond Lauchengco (Farewell), & Sharon Cuneta (To Love Again). Other artists who have recorded versions of her hits were Lea Salonga, Lani Misalucha, Jed Madela, and Angeline Quinto, to name a few.
Fe De Los Reyes is a gifted comedienne. She started her career as a member of Music & Magic, the Philippines’ premier showband. She has since emerged as one of the funniest live entertainers around. Based here in the Bay Area, Fe has been performing stand up comedy and song parodies that are uniquely her own. Many who watch Fe perform live are amazed at her high energy and ability to switch from funny girl to broadway singer, or break into a choreographed dance, all without missing a beat (unless it’s part of the act).
Since 2003, Odette & Fe have worked on numerous live musicals and song parodies together with Odette’s late husband, singer-songwriter, Bodjie Dasig.
Catch these SENTI-MENTAL pair live at the San Francisco Filipino Cultural Center at 814 Mission Street on Saturday, November 2. The show starts at 6:30 PM.
