GMA Network, through a stunning omnibus cinema plug, unveils its ground-breaking offerings slated to premiere on the first quarter of 2019.
The special TV plug features only the biggest Kapuso stars who will headline the cutting-edge programs of the network next year.
Primetime viewing will never be the same as the Kapuso Station brings to light the inspiring story of a young Badjao woman who triumphed despite all life’s challenges in Sahaya. Throughout her journey, Sahaya remains true to her culture and beliefs as a Badjao, even defying the power of love. Headlining this extraordinary and unique masterpiece is one of the country’s hottest and unbeatable loveteams – Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix. After starring in several shows together, Bianca and Miguel’s onscreen chemistry is palpable which make their scenes delightful to watch. This time around, viewers will witness anew the magic of their tandem as they capture the hearts of Pinoy audiences with their latest TV project. Sought-after Kapuso leading man Migo Adecer completes the love triangle of Bianca and Miguel.

Meanwhile, the well-loved pair of Kylie Padilla and Ruru Madrid will be seen onscreen anew in the political romantic comedy series TODA One I Love, under GMA Public Affairs. Viewers will surely be entertained and at the same time be educated with this primetime offering in time for the upcoming midterm elections. The series gives viewers a glimpse of Philippine local politics —all presented with a sprinkle of comedy and romance. Also in the cast are Gladys Reyes, Victor Neri, David Licauco, Jackie Rice, Kim Domingo, Tina Paner, Maureen Larrazabal, Raymond Bagatsing, Cai Cortez, Buboy Villar, Archie Alemania, Kimpoy Feliciano, Ayeesha Cervantes, and Bruce Roeland, under the direction of Jeffrey Hidalgo and Nick Olanka.

And lastly, based on a true story from India and an urban legend in Great Britain comes Kara Mia. The highly-anticipated series revolves around the riveting tale of two sisters, Kara and Mia, born with Disprosopus or craniofacial duplication, a congenital defect where they have two faces but share only one body. Kara’s face is in front, while Mia’s face is at the back of their head. Playing the role of Kara is one of the generation’s most talented actors – award-winning Kapuso lead star Barbie Forteza. Barbie is at the top of her game and continues to deliver mesmerizing performances over the years. She is phenomenal in any kind of role she portrays and she is all set to showcase her dramatic chops in this TV spectacle. Kapuso viewers should definitely look forward to Mika dela Cruz’s incredible talent as she portrays the role of Mia. Playing vital roles in Kara and Mia’s lives are Jak Roberto and Paul Salas. Four of the country’s top-caliber actors – Carmina Villarroel, Glydel Mercado, Mike Tan and John Estrada – deliver powerful performances in this fantasy drama.
