Loisa Andalio defends boyfriend Ronnie Alonte and Vice Ganda from the malicious rumor that the two mainstays of the ABS-CBN noontime variety program “It’s Showtime” are having a secret affair.
“To be honest, I’m not affected even a bit,” she says. “I think both Ronnie and Ate Vice have already explained and cleared that nasty issue numerous times. The public should not put color into their evident closeness. It’s good I’m already numb to such gossip.
“Whatever wagging tongues around are saying, I won’t believe them. Of course, I would believe my boyfriend. Another thing, Ate Vice and I are friends. He’s like a mother to me.
What I can’t understand is why some people are so good at inventing or fabricating stories.
It’s a clear proof that in this field, no matter how good you are, people will always have something unpleasant to say about you.”
The lovely lass is very much aware of Ronnie and Vice’s closeness on and off cam.
“They are really good friends. Ate Vice treats Ronnie like a kid brother. As you notice, they can joke about almost anything. When together, they’re a complete riot. I don’t see anything wrong with that.”
Loisa is currently working with Vice in Star Cinema’s 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry titled, “Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince and the Perya.”
“It served as a perfect ground for me to get to know Ate Vice better. We became close.
He’s very sweet as a friend. For example, if I have a scene, he makes it a point that I look good since my character in the film is a princess. He personally attends to my make-up and dress and all that. He is such a kind individual that you won’t have any bad thought towards him!”
Loisa is saddened by how people give malice to things.
“Actually, I pity those kinds of people. They don’t have something productive to do. Instead of thinking on how to improve their lives, they feast on ruining other people’s credibility and reputation. How pathetic really,” she states.

Interestingly, what’s the reaction of Ronnie’s family on the controversy?
“You know, they’re just cool about it. They’re laughing it off. They know the truth so they just don’t mind what they’ve been hearing.”
For the appealing Kapamilya star, trials like this just strengthen her relationship with Ronnie.
“Oh, most definitely, it does. At this point, Ronnie and I are much stronger and happier.
Our romantic state is so much better and peaceful now!”
Loisa is thankful to their followers for choosing not to leave them at the height of the controversy.
“Yes, me and Ronnie’s heartfelt thanks to them for showing their support at the times we needed it most. They’re like family to us already. We deeply value their great love for us.
We’ll forever be grateful to them,” she ends.
