MANNY PACQUIAO HAS no regrets losing to Floyd Maywether. He has been away from the boxing scene after that fight focusing on his senatorial candidacy in the Philippines. On one of his interviews, he stated that he has never rested this long in his entire boxing career and he is ready to take on Timothy Bradley on April 9 at MGM Grand Arena.
These two boxers have fought in the ring twice since 2012. Bradley won the first one through a controversial split- decision and Pacquiao taking the win on the rematch that vindicated him.
Pacquiao is not cutting corners when it comes to training. He would skip jogging so he could concentrate and instead go hard sparring. He treats it like it is a real fight. Bradley, who has a new trainer is also focused on training and is very well determined, working in and out of the gym.
This third time would be a very interesting match because Bradley has grown as a fighter over the years. People around him think it’s because of his new trainer but Freddie Roach said it does not really matter for him.
Manny Pacquiao said he is ready to hang up his gloves after this fight so he could concentrate on different things in life and serve in public office. He stated that this upcoming bout with the American would be action-packed because Bradley likes to fight toe to toe with him every single time.
Pacquiao would like to go for a knock out for an impressive win and for a spectacular finish.
With Pacquiao’s announced retirement, Bradley gets the last chance to go toe to toe with the man who was once tagged the best pound for pound fighter.
